Spesso si parla degli anni Settanta come una decade totalmente priva di stile, ma durante quegli anni non sono stati commessi solo crimini contro la moda, bensì anche contro il cibo.
70s Dinner Party è un account Twitter e un blog di Tumblr che raccoglie alcune delle migliori-peggiori ricette di quell'epoca, prese da libri di cucina e giornali. Alcuni dei crimini includono torta di salsiccia (zucchero, farina, zenzero, caffe, uvetta, noci, uova e salsiccia di maiale), anelli di pasta e - tenetevi forte - un consommé di manzo in scatola.
Presentazioni a dir poco megalomani, tra torrette di insalata e leziose decorazioni, una certa fissazione per le gelatine - come quella di pomodoro e tonno - e infine il capolavoro: spaghetti in scatola sulla pizza.
